We are proud to announce an exciting partnership with Carers Centres in Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, starting in January 2024.
The programme will support informal carers, recognising the vital, often unacknowledged role they play in our health and care systems. It will focus on promoting their wellbeing and building resilience.
The programme will offer a variety of tailored wellbeing activities designed to empower carers, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive. This initiative is a key part of the Care Group’s commitment to social value investment, linked with our mission to care for the communities we serve.
Farrah Idris, Wellbeing Practitioner and Programme Lead, said: "Informal carers are the backbone of our community, and we are thrilled to support them through this initiative. Our programme is about recognising their contributions and ensuring they receive the care and resilience-building support they truly deserve."
The collaboration underscores the Care Group’s dedication to fostering healthier, more resilient communities by addressing the needs of informal carers—an indispensable yet often overlooked segment of the health and care workforce.
