Spotlight is a safe space for young people in East London to explore and try something new. Best of all it’s totally free to access for 11–19-year-olds. Spotlight has released their summer timetable with a whole host of different activities for young people to get involved with.
The summer programme will be running from 22 July to 23 August 2024 across Spotlight’s five Tower Hamlets locations, 12pm-8pm.
There’s something for every interest across their four programme strands:
Express yourself. Unleash your creativity. Explore 2024. Get Creative at Spotlight with incredible programmes in the music studio, theatre space, art studio and more.
Spotlight presents: Film Making, Creative Masterclasses, Studio Time, Act it! And many more free programmes for young people to try out this Summer.
Keep fit, try a new sport, grab your mates for a kickabout. All your favourite caged sports are on including Basketball, Cricket, Football. The team has partnered with Steel Warriors to bring outdoor calisthenics to young people.
Young women can join girls only boxing sessions to try a new sport in an inclusive and uplifting space.
Turn Your Ideas into Reality! Join Dragons Den this Summer at Spotlight.
Celebrate South Asian Heritage Month with Desi Deshes, Trivia Quizzes & Henna Art and feast times.
Start the day right with fresh and tasty food in the free brunch club - everyday from 12pm.
Prioritise your mental and physical health in a free GP appointment at Health Spot and wellbeing guidance sessions.
