The Festival of Communities is returning to Tower Hamlets on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June, and will be bigger than ever before!
Whether you are looking to explore living or learn about Tower Hamlets, join the festival for a fantastic weekend of free family fun with lots of activities, games, and demonstrations for all ages. These range from hands-on experiments, sharing stories and views, interacting with demonstrations, taking part in workshops and tours, and trying out new things.
The Festival of Communities is hosted by Queen Mary University of London in collaboration with local organisations and groups who will be running hands-on activities and workshops that display local research, creativity, and community initiatives. There will also be free face painting, henna, balloon modelling and inflatables.
The festival will be running from 11.30am-4.30pm in Stepney Green Park on Saturday 11 June and the Queen Mary Mile End Campus on Sunday 12 June, so put both dates in your diary!
