More than 200 Care Group staff came together on Thursday 14 December to celebrate the wonderful contributions of teams and services serving the residents of Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest in our annual Inspire Awards.
The annual Care Group Christmas party at the Tower Hamlets-based Regents Lake Banqueting hall in Bow Wharf, provided the stylish backdrop for the awards.
After enjoying dinner, dessert and refreshments, Care Group Chief Executive Officer, Zainab Arian, kicked off proceedings by sharing highlights of activities, events and important milestones during the past 12 months. Zainab’s presentation showed the importance the Care Group places on championing and supporting staff wellbeing. This commitment, along with the aim of demonstrating our Care Group values in action, birthed our employee recognition scheme, Inspire Awards five years ago.
Care Group Chair, Dr Simon Brownleader, encouraged the workforce to feel proud of how they make a real difference and contribute to the communities we serve.
Simon said: “I think we should give ourselves a round of applause for the work that we do, the way that we do it and the spirit in which we do it.”
“It has been a real honour, a real privilege to hear the awards that everyone has been given, to hear the tributes, the achievements, and to see how people have progressed over the years. Thank you everyone and thank you for being part of this wonderful organisation.”
