The campaign, run by Tower Hamlets Connect, encourages people living and working in the borough to chat with friends and neighbours, particularly those who may be lonely or isolated. This can have a positive effect on their wellbeing, and on yours, too – so if you are out and about in Tower Hamlets, remember to Just Say Hello.
Sahdia Warraich, Social Prescribing Manager at the Care Group, said: “Social isolation is a big issue and we can all make a difference by connecting with each other. Just saying hello and giving a smile can make a difference to someone’s day and help people feel less isolated. That why this campaign is so important and I would urge everybody to support it.”
