Congratulations to Violet Smith, South West Health Visiting colleague, for winning the Practice Teacher of the Year Award from the School of Health Sciences at City University. The award celebrates her contribution towards providing support to students' learning in practice.
Violet supported fellow Care Group colleague, Mavis Effie who is a student, and has mentored student health visitors in Tower Hamlets for over 25 years. The award recognises, celebrates and rewards the achievements of our students.
Violet has been invited to receive her prize at the annual School of Health Sciences Student Practice Excellence Awards ceremony to be held at University of London Senate House on 24 March 2020.
