The programme, running for an initial three-month pilot until March 2025, will offer a variety of tailored wellbeing activities designed to empower carers, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive. This initiative is a key part of the Care Group’s commitment to social value investment, linked with our mission to care for the communities we serve.
Farrah Idris, Care Group Wellbeing Practitioner and Programme Lead, said: “The programme will support informal carers, recognising the vital, often unacknowledged role they play in our health and care systems. It will focus on promoting their wellbeing and building resilience.
"Informal carers are the backbone of our community, and we are thrilled to support them through this initiative. Our programme is about recognising their contributions and ensuring they receive the care and resilience-building support they truly deserve."
