Where to get help after a sexual assault

More than half of people do not come forward for help after experiencing sexual assault or abuse. The NHS want to make it clear: turn to us – we are here.

Sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) are available to all survivors of rape and sexual assault, abuse and violence, regardless of sex, gender identity, age, the type of incident and when it happened.
